Meet the 17 Sports Agency team!

Our team of professionals are on hand to help you perform. Each member of the 17 Sports Agency team is an industry professional and have worked with elite athletes, young sportspeople or within clinical settings. The team also brings a mix of youth and experience to help you develop your physical and mental capabilities, whilst also considering your own financial savings and investments. It is worth noting that every 17 Sports Agency client will receive a bespoke program that is tailored to the needs of their sport, their personality and their goals. SAM BORRER

DIRECTOR

Sports Management Agency

Sam is a FA Licenced Intermediary who has extensive experience in playing, coaching and teaching sport at all levels. He is a qualified teacher who has taught in the UK and abroad. Sam was part of the Norwich City FC Academy at youth level and was the captain of Norfolk FA U18s that were the first in the county’s history to win the FA County Youth Cup at the Britannia Stadium, Stoke FC.

Sam has a passion for developing young people and in particular, young footballers who aspire to make a career out of the game; both professionally and semi-professionally.

CRAIG COLE

SPORTS CONSULTANT

Craig has a wealth of experience across many sports and is a fine asset to the 17 Sports Agency team. He is able to design individualised sessions for each of our athletes to further develop their performance, and it is his player-centred approach that ensures each of our clients are given a personable experience. Craigs ability to transfer key concepts from different sports and his eye for detail ensures he pushes each of our clients to fulfil their potential. Craig is a qualified teacher, UEFA B football coach and has spent over 25 years in youth development; coaching, teaching and mentoring across pathway, independent education and community programmes.

MATTHEW COOKE

STRENGTH & CONDITIONING

Matt has extensive experience working with athletes of varied ages, experiences, and sports.

Matt has previously worked at Leicester Tigers, been the Head of S&C at Oakham School, and is now the Lead S&C for two performance sports at Loughborough University.

Matt has plenty of experience creating individualised programmes for athletes depending on what physical capacity they need to develop to improve both their performance and robustness.

Matts main areas of interest are peak force and speed development.

LORETTA CARRON

PHYSIOTHERAPIST

Loretta has spent the past 3 years studying Physiotherapy alongside practising as a Sports Massage Therapist, working within local sport. She has a keen interest in sports rehabilitation, stemming from her own enjoyment of sport, regularly playing netball and running.

She prides herself in having open conversations with her clients to develop collaborative and effective treatment plans to profess towards either a return to sport or more specific goals.

Whether its targeting areas of concern, rehabilitation following a significant injury or more generalised advice to improve performance, she will help you to perform at your best.
